Building the perfect bridge

Building the perfect bridge:Each year, first year Civil Engineering students have to build a bridge out of San Remo Spaghetti (No. 5) and Selleys five minute araldite glue. Judging criteria is based on load per unit weight (the load supported divided by the weight of the bridge). Bridges must be 440mm long, with a maximum width of 100mm and a maximum height of 300mm. Students have one month to design the perfect spaghetti bridge. This year's winning bridge, built by Fony Dharmawan, Minh Ho and Tuan Hoang, held 27.08kg – 97 times its own weight.
