Join us at UTS Startups on Thursday 29 November for a fireside chat with international guest Marvin Liao - the first event of our StartCon at UTS series. Topics will include sales, marketing, entrepreneurial business models and how to scale your growth as a startup.
Marvin Liao is a Partner at 500 Startups, a global seed venture capital firm and startup accelerator based in the Silicon Valley. He runs the 500 Startups San Francisco-based accelerator and invests in digital media, enterprise and software-as-a-service startups across the globe.
Formerly of Yahoo! He also serves on the advisory boards of several internet advertising and ad technology companies, and is a mentor for startup accelerator programs across Europe, Asia, Israel and the United States.
The event will be moderated by our Director of Entrepreneurship Murray Hurps. Murray has a long list of credentials in the Australian startup ecosystem, with a 20-year career spanning an array of ventures and organisations including Startup Muster, FUELD (Westpac's data-focused accelerator program) and Fishburners.
