Alexi Baker
Alexi Baker joined the Nine Network in 2011 and was appointed Director of Strategy and Corporate Development in March 2016. A strategy and transaction-focused executive with expertise across media, retail and digital, at Nine she is responsible for group strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and investments. Before joining Nine, Alexi was an equities analyst at Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. She holds Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) Degrees from the University of New South Wales and has completed the Executive Program at Stanford.
Kylie Merritt
Kylie Merritt is the CEO of the Australian Money Channel, a joint venture between News Corp and the Nine Network. Formerly the Commercial Director of Australian News Channel, Kylie was responsible for driving revenue growth, forging partnerships and developing new products and platforms to meet the constantly changing needs of audiences and advertisers. Kylie was recently the Director of Operations and Digital where she had responsibility for all operational functions of ANC as well as all digital platforms and partnerships including websites, Qantas Inflight and Australia Channel. Kylie began her media career in 1997 as a reporter with Prime Local News in Orange and has since worked across news, TV production and digital at companies including the Seven Network and News Corp Australia.
Justin Stevens
Justin Stevens is the Executive Producer of ABC nightly current affairs flagship 7.30. Formerly a producer on Four Corners, he started his career at the Nine Network before moving to the ABC in 2006, working as producer for first Kerry O’Brien and then Leigh Sales on 7.30. His other roles have included being Producer on the acclaimed series Keating: The Interviewswith Kerry O’Brien, Supervising Producer on 7.30 and Producer on the AACTA and Logie Award-winning documentary The Killing Season.
His work on Four Corners has included producing the Walkley-nominated two-part special on the Lindt Café Siege, Hillary Clinton: The Interview, a profile on Clive Palmer, an investigation into match-fixing in tennis and the 2016 election special.
Michael Pell
Michael Pell, UTS Graduate, is the executive producer for the Seven Network’s Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise programs – both number one at breakfast – with Sunrise enjoying its strongest ratings year in 2018. After 8 years at the helm, he is now the longest running executive producer of the program. Prior to his role overseeing Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise, Michael, at the age of 26, spent two years as EP of The Morning Show, also number one in its timeslot. With the Seven Network since 2005, Michael began his career as a producer and reporter for Prime News and Sky News and now oversees almost 24 hours of TV per week.
