Pitching an idea is both challenging and central to all aspects of business. As a startup it can be life or death when seeking funding and it can mean just as much when you are up and running in that startup or any other kind of business, large or small.

This two-hour pitching masterclass will introduce powerful and proven structured thinking techniques that help craft messages that resonate with and engage busy and distracted audiences.

This session will leave you with:

  • Simple, practical and thorough ways to think about what your audience really needs from you
  • Techniques for organising your ideas so that you can get them across powerfully and quickly
  • Patterns that you can adapt to your own pitch.

Facilitator, Davina Stanley
Davina is Managing Director of Clarity College which helps executives make the complex clear and the clear compelling in business. She learned her craft at McKinsey & Company in the mid 1990s and now serves large corporates, consulting firms and universities across Australia and Asia Pacific (when she’s not running her own startup).

The masterclass is part of the UTS MBA in entrepreneurship program and it is open to the general public.
