Australian Science Communicators National Conference 2012
This UTS sponsored event is the place to get you started on the best ways to communicate science to a wide variety of audiences. Specialists with diverse skills in communicating science will meet for three days to explore issues, provide training, problem solve, network and discuss effective ways to engage Australians with science.
The conference features a wide range of speakers including the federal and state Chief Scientists, heads of science agencies, people skilled in developing computer games for education and using other new media, and those who interact art with science to put ideas in different contexts.
The conference will be highly interactive. There will be an emphasis on opportunities to network and socialise. Delegates will find plenty of opportunities to meet and influence their colleagues and seek new opportunities for themselves.
